Thomas Kessler, a composer and producer from Düsseldorf, Germany, began playing the piano at nine and later formed the 'Thomas Kessler Group'. He traveled with Berlin’s Dissidenten in the 90s and built his own studio. His solo music has been used in film and television. He collaborated with musicians from bands like King Crimson and Kraftwerk. In 2020, he revived his solo piano music, releasing compositions in the tradition of his 2012 album 'Piano Diaries'. His piano pieces have been published on four CD albums and streamed millions of times on platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music. His 2022 album 'Close to Silence' received the Big Red Button award from the Polish magazine 'Highfidelity News'.
