praam is composer more than instrumentalist. He is not bound to genres or instruments. He composes straight from the heart, trying to translate emotion as honest as possible into music.

Originally trained as a drummer, praam transitioned to piano when he found out he was becoming a father. The first thing he did was walk to the piano to turn his emotion into music. A new sound came out, in which he could translate himself and his feelings very directly into (instrumental) compositions. Since then, praam has learned to compose strings and horns sections, while also taking on recording and producing.

With each record, praam builds on an inspirational theme. But it’s not a heavy message, it’s light; with hope, humor and compassion. With the intent to appreciate things more. On between two poles, the message is to allow room for nuance. To make sure we create time and space to listen to real unheard stories from across the world and not just to the loudest voices. On hush the unquiet mind, he focuses on how the past influences all we know. On his new album, the art of not doing, praam reflects on the ‘now’ that holds infinite inspiration and creativity. Inviting to let go of our thoughts and patterns, allowing what’s already there to blossom.
