I'm Onno, and I make soft, intimate piano music recorded on my acoustic felt piano.

My journey with music started when I was 13 years old, after borrowing an old, beat-up keyboard from one of my cousins. It wasn't anything special, but it was enough to make me fall in love with the piano. I spent countless hours teaching myself, playing whatever sounded beautiful to me and slowly figuring things out by ear.

To this day, I still can't read or write sheet music. Every piece I compose comes purely from feeling and intuition. I simply sit down at the piano and let the music take its own direction. Sometimes a melody appears in just a few minutes, while other times it takes days before it feels complete.
